2018 was a slower year of puppies but a tremendous year nonetheless. It's nice when the main why behind what we do does not have a dollar sign. The main why involves sharing and giving and becoming a part of improving lives. Our first fun encounter was in the spring of 2018 when the dear Shauna Niequiest, a Christian author and speaker, began her search for a puppy that landed her here at Journeycreek. We had the loveliest encounter with her and her family! If you have been fortunate enough to read any of her books, you will know she is full of grace and kindness. This is true in real life as well! We are thankful that we were able to find a lovely puppy that worked well for their family! Each family carries a unique story about why they want a puppy. Those sacred stories are one of our favorite parts! Thank you Shauna for trusting us to raise your puppy (a Mackie Jars puppy). We’ve gone on to meet and help her brother and look forward to when her parents, Bill and Lynn Hybels need a little lap dog to love on.
